What is BMI?

Your body mass index (BMI) is a value that measures your body fat in relation to your height and weight. This measurement indicates whether you are underweight, normal weight, or overweight. The calculation generally applies to adult men and women ages 20 and over. BMI does not take into account your age, sex, ethnicity, or muscle mass. It is a reasonable measurement to gauge where you are; however, to fully understand your health risks and treatment options, it is best you contact us for a free consultation.
